Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients of different age groups using appropriate standards, validated assessment tools and evidence based standards of practice in accordance with the department's policy.

Develops, implements and communicates the patient's nutritional plan of care which are documented in the patient's electronic medical record (EMR).

Provides counseling to inpatients and outpatients on their nutritional needs.
