    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Project Engineering Manager essentially bears responsibility for achieving the technical and business management project objectives delegated to him/her by the Project Manager.

    He/she directs a team of engineering project managers for the solution development, offer preparation and project implementation. He/she is responsible with regard to team performance in terms of content, cost, time/planning and quality of international projects.

    The PEM provides overall technical direction for the Project and is responsible for ensuring that all engineering is in conformance with contract requirements, project specific requirements (EHS, quality and constructability).

    The PEM coordinates all engineering activities and is responsible to address and resolve technical interface issues including OEM equipment.

    Required Skills

    College degree, preferable within the field of electrical, mechanical, structural, automation or process engineering or equivalent combination of education

    Minimum years' experience in engineering of complex projects

    Experience in electrical or building projects

    After assignments in engineering project teams and lead engineer positions an experienced level should be reached to coordinate all engineering disciplines

    Strategic orientation with an overall knowledge of the specific project type, as well as the requirements for operation and services of these project types

    Customer and consortium partner focus, capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environment

    Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high quality work process

    Willingness for business travels with international contacts

    Excellent verbal and written English skills
