    Position title:

    Process Engineer IIPosition summary We are looking for a motivated scientist or engineer to join the Scientific Operations team in Diagnostic Solutions, a business segment of Becton Dickinson & Company.

    Our team is responsible for the scientific and technical support of reagents manufacturing used for the diagnosis of cervical cancer and microbiological infections.

    The team drives a portfolio of projects including process improvement and validation activities, analytical development method validation, material changes, packaging and labeling changes, raw material and new supplier qualification, quality investigation and products/consumables transfer.


    Responsibilities and Qualities:
    Self-motivated candidate with demonstrated ability to prioritize, maintaining constant alignment with project teams and stakeholders.
    Capable of leading the implementation of changes of small/medium scopes with limited supervision.

    The candidate must be capable of gathering requirements and necessary information, obtaining cross-functional buy-in to plan and execute tasks and projects, and communicating progress and identified risks to stakeholders.

    Experienced in the design and execution experiments including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    Troubleshoots and investigates quality and process issues within manufacturing and coordinates with appropriate teams to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.

    Authors different type of protocols/Reports or SOP and coordinates review/ approval process: comfortable seeking feedback and driving discussions to obtain alignment within cross-functional groups.

    Comfortable executing a protocol with a good attention to details, following good documentation practices (GDP).

    Capable of conducting literature research, gathering information from subject matter experts or other sources, and working within cross functional teams to investigate an issue with a goal of proposing action plans.

    Develops effective project tracking through creating and publishing action item logs and meeting minutes along with timely following through with respective owners.

    Possesses good oral and written communication skills and must be comfortable working within multi-functional teams.
    Demonstrated a growth mindset and the ability to lean and grow.
    Willingness to lead the execution of initiatives having direct impact on plant objectives in a matrixed organization.


    Requirements and qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering
    Minimum of 4 years of working experience in manufacturing or quality role in Life Sciences, biotechnology, or related industries.
    Proficient with MS Office suite is necessary.
    Knowledge and/or experiences in the following area would be advantageous:
    Data analysis and use of data analysis software like Minitab
    Six Sigma or lean manufacturing concept and methods
    Experience planning, tracking, and executing projects.
    Experience working under GMP, industries regulated by the FDA or/and ISO 13485
