    Service Champions
    is looking to hire a full-time Residential Electrical Technician to join our team. This position requires completing residential service calls consisting of troubleshooting, basic light and fan installation, service upgrades, and outlet replacements. This is a full-time, non-exempt level position reporting to the General Manager.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
    • Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
    • Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
    • Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champion's quality and safety standards
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
    • Meet sales goals and metrics
    • Experience in setting units.
    • Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each electrical component within the system operates
    • Experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive "can-do" attitude over the phone and in person
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi- discipline environment
    • High level of professionalism and integrity
    • Exceptional written, math, and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
    • 5 years of prior electrical experience within a service company, preferred, but not required
    • High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
    • Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
    • Availability to work a variable schedule between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, based upon business needs.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
    • Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
    • Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
    • Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
    • Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
    • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
    • May work in closed or cramped space on occasion.
