    What we are we looking for:

    The Finance Manager is responsible for financial accounting and financial reporting activities for the allocated Invesco entities/workstreams within the UK and Continental Europe.

    The Finance Manager is the owner of the external and internal financial reporting, including the annual financial statements, and is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of financial information presented.

    The Finance Manager will be part of the UK Finance team, and will assist with other accounting activities, with other UK and Continental Europe

    entities/workstreams,

    and various improvement projects as required.


    The job holder will also partner closely with other finance staff (e.g., Global Business Services (Shared Service Centre), FP&A, Tax, Treasury etc.), and will support business leads by completing a wide variety of financial tasks in addition to financial reporting.

    The job holder will also be responsible for ensuring there is sufficient evidence and documentation that corporate reporting activities are being performed effectively.

    The Finance Manager will:


    Be responsible for accurate and timely closing of the books for allocated entities/workstreams each month by monitoring inputs from Global Business Services (GBS) Shared Service Centre and overseeing the preparation of US GAAP and local GAAP financial reporting.

    Prepare local GAAP annual report, financial statements including appendices and other reports and analyses as needed
    Oversee and support the preparation by GBS of ad-hoc and quarterly Board reporting packages and present to the relevant Board (s)
    Be responsible for coordinating the completion of the local statutory audit.

    What you can bring:


    Proven accounting and financial reporting experience, ideally within the Asset Management industry, with extensive experience in period-end closing of books.

    Good knowledge of local accounting standards (UK and Continental Europe) and excellent knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS, as well as regulatory and tax background.

    Experienced user of ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
