    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess both electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing machinery, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity.


    Responsibilities:
    Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
    Repair or replace defective parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
    Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance-related issues and prioritize repairs.
    Install and commission new equipment as required, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
    Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
    Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
    Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.


    Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical field preferred.
    Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metals industry.
    Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of motors, controls, and PLCs.
    Proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission.
    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
    Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
    Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
