    Job Summary:


    Come join our diverse provider team that includes psychiatrists,
    APRN's, and PA's to assess, diagnose and treat the mental health needs of our patients.

    The role of the
    APRN is diverse and includes prescribing medications for patients who have mental health disorders or substance abuse problems while collaborating with an incredible team to help care for those with severe mental illness in a community care setting.


    WMMHC provides care in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient crisis facility, and intensive community programs with our PACT and MACT teams.

    We are closely tied into our communities and build relationships in order to best care for our patients holistically.

    Empathy, impeccable communication, relationship building skills, and a willingness to learn and collaborate are all traits of our successful medication provider team.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution
    License to practice in the State of Montana and hold current certification as an
    APRN by ANCC or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
    Ability to pass background check and driver's license check upon offer of employment.
    Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western's policies.
    Montana Driver's License with good driving record

    Preferred experience

    Extensive training or experience in community based psychiatric treatment of individuals diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance and severe and persistent mental illness
    Comprehensive and current knowledge of psychotropic medications and an understanding of crisis intervention and the use of hospital alternative services
