Gotham Companies is seeking a Sonographer in the Manhattan area.


Overview:

Perform ultrasound examinations in a hospital setting, producing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Collaborate with medical professionals, including radiologists and physicians, to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Provide patient education and support during procedures.


Qualifications:
Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and related technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Adherence to ethical and professional standards in patient care.
Prior experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital environment(preferred)
Prior experience with fetal anatomy scans (preferred)
MUST have OB experience

This is a contract position, falling between Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.


Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Graduation for an accredited school of Ultrasonography
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
OB experience required
