    The Client Manager will be responsible for their client's satisfaction and engagement through insightful analysis, actionable recommendations, and proactive thought leadership focused on solving the strategic business needs of their stakeholders.

    The Client Manager's role will include assisting clients with navigating through complex business challenges by providing insightful and actionable recommendations, contributing to overall client satisfaction and engagement, and developing your knowledge of your client's strategic business needs.

    You may also have responsibility for leading and developing direct reports.

    Your success in this role will be driven by five key areas.

    First, accurately diagnosing and decomposing your client's business issues and successfully providing recommendations and insights will demonstrate your thought leadership and analytical aptitude.

    Second, you will demonstrate leadership of your client stakeholders by building strong relationships and increasing your knowledge of their strategic goals.

    Third, you will demonstrate knowledge of NIQ's tools, data assets, and programs. Fourth, you may have responsibility for leading and developing direct reports. Lastly is building deep industry knowledge and expertise.

    All client facing associates are part of the commercial and revenue management process.

    This includes, but is not limited to, identifying opportunities from client meetings and communications, socializing them to the right client leads, and supporting them so we can act on those opportunities.

    Qualifications:
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree Required

    Ideally 4 to 6 years of experience with demonstrated expertise in syndicated data analysis in the FMCG or CPG, Retail, Consulting or Analytics

    Strong analytical aptitude

    Ability to articulate your point of view or recommendations in a clear and concise way both verbally and in writing

    Strong project management and organizational skills

    Experience working with market trends/consumer behavior/panel insights

    Preferred experience with working with syndicated data and tools, e-commerce

    Related industries experience to include:
    Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, E-Commerce, Consulting, Category Management, Analytics

    Experience in client service environment and ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships

    Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office software

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.


    • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience)
    • 2+ years of direct food testing, high intensity customer service, or other business-related experience
    • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
    • Thick-skinned – ability to receive and deliver difficult news
    • Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
    • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Knowledge of other software applications (i.e. CRM, NIMS, CLQ, CLO, EOL, Tableau, CLIP) preferred
    • Ability to work to multiple deadlines
    • Ability to learn technical chemistry and microbiology testing requirements
    • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal and external clients
    • Positive attitude and sense of urgency
    • Experience in a scientific or logistics environment is heavily weighted
    • Act in a professional manner at all times including professional attire on client video calls and visits
    • Knowledge of infant formula regulations preferred

    Other Factors:


    • Flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones outside core working hours
    • Occasionally working extended hours in order to adhere to client deliverable timelines
    • Domestic travel may be necessary

    * % that requires overnight: 1/2 of total

    • Travel primarily to where: Client Offices, Sales Meetings, Other Eurofins locations, Trade Shows/Conferences as applicable
