    The Finance Automation and Cloud ERP team is currently seeking a successful, creative professional to join the Cloud ERP Initiative, focused primarily on the Plan to Perform value stream.

    The Finance Automation and Cloud ERP is a team embedded within our Controllership organization that represents all collaborators across Finance on our transformation journey.

    This transformation includes the implementation of Workday Financials including Adaptive Planning, a complement to our existing Workday HCM footprint.

    This team supports Method 7 of our Corporate Strategy Initiatives to build streamlined, automated, thoughtful, and efficient processes with modern technology.

    As a member of the Plan to Perform scrum team, this position will work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with aggressive timelines and often competing priorities.

    The candidate must have a solid foundation and understanding of finance fundamentals including planning, reporting, and analytics.

    This position will be asked to challenge the status quo and envision the art of the possible through out-of-the-box functionality as we drive toward our goals of simplified technology architecture and reduced manual controls.

    The position will work across functional teams to identify dependencies and bring attention to Plan to Perform risks associated with the work of other functional teams.

    Business partnerships and communication will be critical across the, Finance & Strategy (F&S) organization, Business Technology, and other Finance organizations.

    The position will also work with external business integrators and systems integrators within the Plan to Perform workstream.

    Success in this role will require creativity to re-imagine possible future processes with out-of-the-box functionality that will enable our ability to scale through automation.

    The scope will include a range of financial planning requirements that will improve or create operational processes and automate key steps.

    This position will report to the Senior Director for the overall Cloud ERP initiative.


    Responsibilities:


    Coordinates and collaborates with F&S, global accounting, tax, business technology, and integration partner teams to meet business needsRepresents the business point of view when designing and collaborating with a business integrator, system integrator, and business technology teamWork with various business advisors to assist in delivering world-class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexibleDevelop to be processes considering Workday out-of-the-box functionality.

    Provide recommendations and follow through with communication and implementation of new processes.

    Provide critical input and insight into planning system requirements based on process knowledge and future state visionIdentify and prioritize F&S use casesCoordinates timing of process owner testing efforts and implements unit testing and end-to-end testing.

    Provides support for user acceptance testingInfluences decision-making and outcomes to support core F&S interestsCommunicates and calls out blockers in a timely manner and proposes possible remedies to overcomeCommunicate the status of the project to cross-functional team members and managementParticipate in internal process improvement initiatives to improve planning, reporting, analytics, analytical tools, and technical aspects of F&S processesEnsure financial statement and operational risks are mitigated in process designExperience/

    Skills Required:
    Ability to work with remote management and business partnersDegree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)4-6+ years of operational experience in managing financial business processesStrong oral and written communication skills are crucialAbility to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, solve problems, scope business requirements, and prioritizeAbility to identify gaps between desired future state and system functionality and recommend viable alternative options and solutionsExperience in a highly complex global organizations operating within large-scale ERP systemsStrong collaboration and partnership skills requiredRemains adaptable and flexible.

    Open to continuous change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and working in an ambiguous business environmentAbility to approach responsibilities with a beginners mind and serve as Change Champion for the Finance Automation and Cloud ERP team by communicating, advocating, and championing upcoming changes to impacted collaborators.
