    Position Summary:
    ACU has an exciting opportunity for a

    Branch Manager

    to join our

    Member Experience

    Department in

    Ashland, KY .

    This position leads and manages the branch experience for the Headquarter Branch location in Ashland, KY.

    The branch manager will adhere to all ACU policies and procedures, ensure consistency in all financial wellness conversations with members, and enhance member service by utilizing all available omnichannel tools.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Lead the branch team to utilize active listening skills to position appropriate financial solutions to each member.
    Lead the branch team to ensure members are given excellent experiences both for service-related needs and financial wellness needs. Oversees the consistency of member service interactions and the utilization of omnichannel tools available to enhance a members experience.

    Create a great member experience and solidify ACU loyalty by effectively responding to member needs.
    Teach, coach, and train branch team members on ACUs policies and procedures and oversees implementation in daily member interactions

    Coach team members to manage risk scenarios by utilizing sound judgement, high ethics, and prudence built upon an extensive knowledge of ACU policies and procedures.

    Be a brand ambassador in all interactions with members, employees, ACU board members, and volunteers.
    Actively participate in all required compliance and behavioral skill training that equip one for excellent job performance.

    Teach, coach and train direct reports to utilize available resources such as outbound call, financial wellness conversations, targeted outreach campaigns and center of influence activities to capitalize on each member interaction.

    Lead team to consistently meet service and financial wellness objectives.

    Identify gaps and collaborates to quickly readjust approach as needed.
    Responsible for growing and maintaining the branch deposit and loan portfolios.

    Manages the life cycle of employee engagement including but not limited to hiring, training collaboration and onboarding, performance management, coaching for success, accountability, recognition, development, mentoring, and work life balance for direct reports.

    Other duties as requested by Senior Management or Branch Network Senior manager.

    Education & Experience Requirements:
    Minimum 5 years of retail sales and service, retail branch banking preferred
    High School diploma or equivalent
    Previous experience in leadership roles preferred
    Bachelor's degree preferred

    Required Skills & Abilities:
    Ability to work Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm EST and Friday 8am to 6pm EST
