    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for directing and coordinating production, customer interfacing, carrier/mode assignment, warehousing and delivery functions of the plant outbound transportation and final mile network.

    PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
    • Manage the efficient workflow of production, route plans, carrier/mode assignment, cross-docks, and associated receipt and delivery of cabinets and accessories
    • Perform job-site safety inspections per company standards
    • Track and improve key performance metrics, programs, and on-going or upcoming projects
    • Maintain log for all company and leased assets and monitor preventative maintenance in compliance with company standards
    • Liaise with service providers, field support and customer care to resolve issues and ensure support plans are in place to solve immediate topics and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Support logistic system enhancements by soliciting user feedback, providing technical requirements and testing modifications
    • Assist in and further develop daily, weekly, and month end reporting/KPIs for a full understanding and impactful influence across the initiatives
    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
    • High School diploma or GED
    • 4 years transportation office, and/or warehouse/dispatch delivery experience
    • Demonstrated successful ability to lead people and get results through others
    • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers
    • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field
    • Prior ERP experience (Oracle)
    • Ability to read blueprints and layouts
    • Familiarity with the cabinet industry and product
    • Experience in the building industry
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Sitting for Extended Periods: The nature of the job involves sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods while performing administrative tasks, using a computer, and engaging in various in-office activities.
    • Computer Use: Proficient use of a computer, including typing, mouse manipulation, and viewing a computer screen for extended periods is essential.
    • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use office equipment such as phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and printers. This may require fine motor skills and dexterity.
    • Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, documents, and other materials, typically not exceeding a certain weight limit (e.g., 20 pounds).
    • Mobility: Ability to move within the office environment to access filing cabinets, printers, and other office equipment.
    • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders directly in person or via electronic communication.
    • Visual Acuity: Ability to read printed and electronic documents, as well as distinguish colors, for tasks such as proofreading and reviewing documents.
    • Multitasking: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively, which may require mental agility and adaptability.
