- Responsible for assisting patients in collaboration with the provider and other members of the healthcare team with all clinical services available at the clinic.
- Clinical responsibilities include patient intake, documenting medical history, vital signs, administering injections, EKG's, performing lab testing, and additional medical services within LPN scope of practice.
- Obtains, verifies, and records health history of patients.
- Gathers health data through assessments and samples, collects specimens, and performs lab testing.
- Provides patient care based on protocols, documents assessments, interventions, and test results.
- Assists in exams, procedures, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
- Ensures accurate patient information placement in charts, coordinates patient care, follows up on testing and referrals.
- Monitors patients, promotes wellness, participates in care planning, and offers patient education.
- 1–2 years clinic experience
- Completion of accredited Vocational/Technical Nursing Program
- Active Kansas nursing license
