    Job Summary:

    Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the plant facility and the manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous operation keeping safety the highest priority. Determine root cause failures and make improvement recommendations to the team. Manage spare part inventory and document all work in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

    Location & Work Schedule: Zebulon, NC - 12hr day shift, 3 positions - 2 position from 6pm-6am and 1position from 6am-6pm.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    o Diagnose electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment failures, such as heating circuits, motor controls, VFD's, servo drives, pumps, vacuum systems, hot oil units, pneumatic systems, electromechanical solenoids, and motorized conveyors.

    o Contributes to measurable improvements in scheduled, unscheduled and break down maintenance related down time and the costs associated with these events

    to contribute to the overall plant performance goals and shares best practices across and within the company.

    o Plans and performs complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical & electrical theories and principles.

    o Facility HVAC preventive maintenance.

    o Manage work orders in the CMMS recording problems, parts, and repairs.

    o Maintain spare part inventory.

    o Clean work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.

    o Perform other duties as assigned.

    o Give regular feedback to the manager on technical issues.

    Requirements:

    o High school diploma or GED required.

    o Two-year college degree in a technical related field or in the process of one highly preferred.

    o 1-2 years' experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field applications a plus.

    o Working knowledge of three phase power, distribution panels, branch circuits, power transformers, lighting circuits and overload protection.

    o Ability to read, understand, and follow safety information, operating instructions, blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and procedure manuals.

    o Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.

    o Excellent troubleshooting skills.

    o Ability to follow safety rules, operating instructions, understand blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and procedure manuals.

    o Ability to write comprehensive reports and correspondence.

    o Proficiency in selecting, using, and safely handling power tools and shop equipment.

    o Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks.

    o Ability to work independently with maximum results.
