    Description
    Looking for an experienced Beverage Manager to join our team at an upscale restaurant near River North (Chicago, IL) As a Beverage Manager, your expertise will bring patrons an enlightened and enjoyable dining experience at our venue. Wine knowledge and food/wine pairings a PLUS
    What's Offered:

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive beverage program that complements our menu and enhances the overall dining experience.
    • Collaborate with the executive chef to create innovative and enticing cocktail specials and wine pairings.
    • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of all beverages.
    • Train and mentor staff on proper beverage service techniques, product knowledge, and upholding our high standards of hospitality.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and licensing regulations related to beverage service.
    • Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless coordination.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for increasing revenue and improving profitability.

    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Beverage Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or bar.
    • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixology trends.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
