    Description
    The Sr. Associate, Actuarial Specialist will handle the Company's Cash Flow Testing and experience study processes. They will aid in the completion of the quarterly and annual valuation reporting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Cash Flow Testing and Modeling Responsibilities:
    • Aid in the augmentation of the Company's asset and liability models to improve the reinsurance projections, assumption validation, and management of mismatches in the Asset/Liability cash flows
    • Aid in performing the annual cash flow testing and producing the Company's Asset Adequacy Memorandum
    • Utilize the asset and liability models as needed, to answer business questions
    • Maintain Alfa models
    • Provide documentation of Cash-flow testing and corporate modeling processes
    Experience Study Responsibilities:
    • Create annual experience studies analysis.
    • Aid in the experience study work of the Company.
    • Provide financial analysis for strategic/tactical decision making, as needed
    Other Responsibilities:
    • Aid in development and validation of Actuarial Assumptions
    • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis of data, researching discrepancies, and providing any additional data requested
    • Assist in special projects as necessary
    • Serve as a source of mathematical expertise and data knowledge for the Company
    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's degree in Math or related subject required
    • Two or more years of life insurance industry experience, with particular focus in valuation and cash flow testing preferred
    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
    • Ability to use and learn technically oriented platforms, such as actuarial modeling/reserving software, database, spreadsheet, and the ability to use communication-oriented software for presentation and documentation is required.
    • Experience with R software strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of Triton/ALFA software is a plus.
