    Description

    JOB PURPOSE: The Program Coordinator is responsible for contacting and coordinating mental health services for participants. Program Coordinators work with other members of the MWS team to ensure that clients receive all services that they are authorized for, and ensure that clients understand services prior to the beginning of service provision. Additionally, Program Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that authorized services are accurately recorded and billed for.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contact participants and coordinate intakes.
    • Provide participants with an understanding of services provided by the program.
    • Responsible for data entry when enrolling participants in services, completing electronic records and documenting case logs in a timely manner.
    • Assist in reviewing reports regarding program operations by tracking service hours and other data points.
    • Collaborate with clinicians, parenting education coordinators and program liaisons.
    • Comply with policies and procedures governing the program and ensure the program is operating at maximum efficiency.
    • Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis.
    • Facilitate human trafficking groups to program participants.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION:

    • High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience.
    • Associates Degree with 2+ years of experience.
    • Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, non-profit management, or related field from an accredited college or university.

    LANGUAGE: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

    EXPERIENCE: Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to the position and working with vulnerable or migrant populations.

    ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

    LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

    VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

    OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be proficient in Spanish/English (written and spoken language skills). Must be available one evening a week and occasional weekend hours. Eligible to receive, pass and maintain e-QIP security clearance - initiated by the National Background Investigations Bureau. Must be a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident for more than 5 years.
