    At a critical moment of growth, we are looking for an ambitious and rigorous VP of Finance to create the financial systems and reporting tools to help us become a world-class business.

    Beyond cash flow management and reporting, the VP of Finance should expect to be instrumental in our strategic development - as well as play a central role in future fundraising.

    Candidates should have 5 years of experience in financial management for venture-backed startups - preferably through multiple stages of growth and funding.

    Our team operates nationally, with a headquarters in Baltimore, MD. This role is open to hybrid and remote applicants.

    Build and maintain financial forecast model; run scenarios and inform decision-makingCalculate burn rate and future cash position for Cambium and its subsidiary companiesGenerate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for key stakeholders (i.e. executive team, investors, board)Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate business healthCollaborate with Sales & Supply teams to assess product-level economics and evaluate growth strategiesCoordinate and oversee a third-party audit of financials, as necessaryProcess Implementation (30%)Work with CEO & CFO to establish department budgets; provide ongoing evaluation of performance against projectionsOversee financial policiesLevel-up our financial processes - assess existing suite of tools and software systems and devise growth strategyDevise recommendations to improve financial management practicesFundraising Support (20%)Work with CEO to translate performance data into a compelling fundraising storyPlay an active role in fundraising - provide requisite financial documentation and participate in diligence conversations, where neededAbout You:

    Required5+ years experience in financial management for venture-backed startups - preferably through multiple stages of growth and fundingThorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Deep expertise in Excel.

    You live for financial modeling, and can create dynamic tools to inform decision-makingYou're a wizard of financial synthesis and are comfortable preparing all manner of reports, accompanied by nuanced analysis.

    You highly capable working with sophisticated financial management systemsYou're purpose-driven. You need your work to have environmental and social impact.

    You like to chart your course and don't wait for someone to give you a to-do list You have an innate ability to jump in, figure it out, anticipate, plan and execute.

    Salary Range :
    $120k - $150k, or commensurate with experience.
