    Job Title: Surgical Scheduling Coordinator

    Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion - Aurora, CO

    Department: Female Pelvic Medicine

    FTE: Full Time, 0.0 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

    Shift: Days

    Pay: $20.26 - $26.34 / hour, based on relevant experience

    Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Surgical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of surgery scheduling.

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule inpatient and outpatient surgical appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
    • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities, surgeon, staff, and equipment
    • Communicate with patients and/or their families to provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and confirm appointments
    • Perform insurance verification and/or pre-authorizations as necessary

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Relevant life support certification
    • No prior experience required
