    Job Title: Quality Engineer

    Location: Medley, FL, 33178

    Job Type: 4+ Months Contract with Possibility to Extend

    Summary:

    We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Ejection Seating team based in the charming city of Miami, Florida. This role will serve as the main link between the company and the client, prioritizing relationship building, enhancing quality performance, and aligning with the company's operational objectives encompassing the production, inspection, and delivery of aviation goods.

    The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in leading teams to identify the root causes behind customer escapes and non-conformances, implementing suitable corrective and preventive measures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead teams in investigating customer escapes and non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
    • Evaluate and address customer non-conformances.
    • Approve First Article inspections and conduct audits on product, process, and work instructions.
    • Collaborate with various Engineering teams and Customer Support to address technical/quality issues related to engine manual repairs and other approved technical data.
    • Support Escape investigations within Business Units and actively engage in plant-wide teams.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree and have at least 2 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality, or a related industrial field, or possess an Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar working environment.
    • In the absence of a degree, have 4 or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality, or a related industrial field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrate effective root cause determination skills (8D, Fault Tree, etc.).
    • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze quality data.
    • Possess excellent computer skills.
    • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
