A client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a strong Windows Administrator to be responsible for assessing the stability, security, and scalability of the organization's Windows systems. Excellent problem solving and communications skills are essential here as this individual will need to consistently collaborate with IT managers, Help Desk teams, and end users. This individual will need to install and / or upgrade Windows systems and servers and troubleshoot errors.

Must-Haves:

Solid work history in an IT role with exposure to Windows Administrator tasks

Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance

Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN

Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms

Experience working with Help Desk staff and providing end-user support

Plusses:

2+ years in a true Windows Administrator role

Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or IT

Active Directory & Group Policy management experience

Server OS, Windows AD DNS, HEAT
