Electronics Technician- Facilities Plant Operations. Full-Time, Day Schedule
This position travels and supports several medical locations in the Portland Area (West and East side of Portland)

As part of the facilities department, the Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems. Work assigned ranges from moderate to advanced in difficulty, in some cases requiring specialized and/or advanced training. The Technician works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other caregivers within the department. The Technician prioritizes duties to ensure a minimum of operational downtime and maximize the efficient use of equipment. Some work may be performed by contractors under the supervision of the electronics technician.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Electronics. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- 5 years Installation and maintenance of electronic equipment experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
