    Location: Michigan (candidates can live in any part of the state.) Relocation assistance is provided.

    Required: Strong electronics, electrical, and mechanical skills. High-voltage electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics. CNC repair experience is a plus

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, conduct maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair fabricating machine tools at customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
    • Provide high-quality technical assistance to customers to ensure optimal sheet metal equipment performance.
    • Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions
    • Work within a cross-functional team that includes applications, sales, engineering, or production for excellent customer service.
    • Train customers to operate and/or repair machines to ensure maximum productivity.
    • Represent the company and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.

    Requirements:

    • A hands-on problem solver experienced in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics.
    • Required: Very strong Electronics & Controls Knowledge with extensive Troubleshooting skills
    • Preferred: Good Mechanical proficiency with hand tools, including precision measurement tools.
    • Focused on customer service and quality
    • Technologically savvy and experienced in software and file management
    • Flexible and professional
    • Two-year technical school degree in an Engineering field or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
    • Valid USA Drivers License. Ability to obtain a Passport, a Credit Card, and rent an automobile.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
    • Extensive Travel (Company Paid Room, Rental Cars, Airfare & Meal Per diem.)
    • Required: Ability to lift 70 pounds (Your Toolbox has wheels but needs to be handled)
    • Required: Excellent Personal Computer (PC) proficiency. (Computer Principles, Use of MS Office)

    Travel:

    • Frequent weekday, US, and occasional international travel will be required, up to 100%. Regular Travel is Monday through Friday, and Home on Weekends.

    Compensation:

    Competitive hourly pay, OT, meal per diem, training includes continuing education credits, uniform allowance, cell phone, laptop, complete corporate benefits, including major medical, dental, 401 (K), and parental leave. All travel bonus miles are yours to keep. The company provides relocation assistance if needed.
