Position OverviewThe Manager, Oracle Purchasing is an authority on Oracle Fusion procurement systems and process.
Actively partnering with the procurement and finance teams, this role will be responsible for exercising creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design and implement complex business solutions to meet Encore's procurement needs.
This position will report to the Director, Oracle.Key Job Responsibilities
Be able to analyze the business requirements and prepare required documents based on the discussion with users.
Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of current issues, in-flight projects and future requirements related to Oracle procurement applications.
Collaborate with internal customers, including Procurement, Finance and field operations, to identify and maximize opportunities to improve product, service and business processes within the procurement area.
Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of user needs and business systems, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify business processes.
Quality Assurance
Ensure continuing operational quality by documenting system bug fixes and enhancements, assigning tasks to developers, testing, and releasing updates.
Coordinate cross functional groups to test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services.
Provide project leadership across organizational or geographical boundaries.
Create project plan and deliverable definition.
Manage and report project execution (e.g., budget, change control, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, status, etc.)
People Development
Lead and manage the productivity and output of on-shore/off-shore Oracle consultants
Model and reinforce a positive working environment centered on company values for both onshore and offshore team members.
Job Qualifications
BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field.
Working with Oracle support to resolve tickets.
Intermediate skills with SQL Quries, Oracle Cloud Integrations, Bulk Data loads.
5+ years of experience Implementing/supporting Oracle cloud Fusion ERP is required.
Required:
Experience with configurations involving iProcurement, iProcurement catalogs, Vendor Portal and Purchase Order modules and functionality
Preferred:
Experience with configurations involving third party vendor punch outs, WMS systems (ASC Trac) and functionality.
Experience in leading business analysis, requirements gathering, and support experience in an Information Technology department supporting internal and external project assignments.
Proven ability to develop, document and maintain detailed process flows.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities and participation in multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and collaborate with a variety of individuals to achieve business results and understand current issues, especially involving Finance and Procurement topics.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong ability to deliver quality solutions in partnership with the business and system integrators
Prior experience working closely and leading offshore talent preferred.
