    ICP Group is looking to hire an HR Generalist to join our team. As the HR Generalist you will be responsible for working closely with our Manufacturing plants to help shape, manage, implement, and integrate Human Resource programs and processes in support of ICP's objectives.

    The Human Resource Generalist's responsibilities include: Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Safety and Welfare, Compliance and Benefits Management.

    There will be a heavy emphasis on employee relations. You will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships between the organization and our employees. You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy work environment where all individuals can thrive.

    In this role you will be responsible for the following:

    • Oversee data entry and maintenance of all employee personnel records
    • Assist Department Supervisors and the General Manager with administering and documenting all employee disciplinary actions and terminations
    • Assist Department Supervisors with performance management and counseling of employees
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees seeking guidance or assistance with workplace issues.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, or policy violations, ensuring thoroughness, confidentiality, and fairness throughout the process.
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to develop and implement strategies for resolving employee relations issues and improving overall employee satisfaction.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Develop and deliver training programs on topics related to employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and conflict resolution.
    • Stay current on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk for the organization.
    • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
    • Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, in HRIS and payroll systems.
    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
    • Plan and coordinate events for ICP including; finding and booking venues, ordering food and refreshments, travel reservations and dinners.
    Requirements:
    • 3+ years with Human Resources experience, specifically in employee relations
    • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or a Professional HR certification preferred (PHR or SPHR/ SHRM-CP)
    • Bilingual strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in the workplace.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues.
    • Experience delivering training programs or presentations preferred.
    • Comfortable with public speaking to small groups
    • Requires good computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize systems, in order to improve efficiency
    • Strong focus on process improvement with a solutions oriented mindset.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
    • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    Work Environment & Physical Demands
