- Operate brake press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work
- Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates
- Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges
- Sorting and packaging parts
- Verify quantity & quality of material
- Empty scrap luggars and performs miscellaneous tasks as required
- Operates overhead crane while moving product
- Complete & maintain all required paperwork
- Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct rules and other regulations
- Maintains a safe & clean work environment & departmental housekeeping standards
- Other duties as assigned or required
- Highly motivated self starter
- Requires 6-12 months of relevant manufacturing experience
- Good math skills
- Basic reading & writing skills
- Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Interpersonal skills & friendly attitude
- Ability to function well in a team environment
- Ability to respond to ever changing demands with a positive attitude
- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls
- Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision & depth perception

Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Laser Supervisor, the Brake Press Operator operates manual brake presses and punch presses to form and bend a variety of materials. Responsible for part quality and efficiency.
