    Job Description:


    Reporting to the Returns Manager, the Returns Dock Specialist provides oversight to the returns dock associates, creates shipments, schedules freight, troubleshoots issue, and manages all aspects of outgoing freight to vendors.

    Returns Dock Specialist is responsible for providing daily and weekly reporting, hitting monthly shipping goals and working in collaboration with other warehouse departments.

    Responsibilities


    • Responsible for scheduling and preparing paperwork for shipments to vendors.
    • Provide guidance and serve as a "troubleshooter" for workflow issues.
    • Work closely with the Shipping team to ensure empty trailers are available as needed.
    • Contributing to accomplishing monthly shipping goals.
    • Maintain records and reports as needed by the department.
    • Provide daily reporting on key metrics.
    • Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    Experience


    • Three years of related Warehouse experience
    • Experience in shipping/receiving, preferred.
    • PIT certified or willing to become PIT certified.
    • Experience with AS400 Warehouse Management System preferred.
    Education


    • High school diploma or equivalent
    Skills


    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic Mathematical Skills
    Physical and Environmental Requirements


    • Stand for long period of time, up to 2 continuous hours during a shift.
    • Walk up to 2 miles a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.
    • Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities.
    • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
    • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
    • Bend, stoop, or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
