POSITION DESCRIPTIONAdministers the quality system in accordance with customer, company, and ISO 9001 requirements; manages the ISO 9001 certification processAdministers safety and environmental program of Durant location; organizes, promotes, develops, and enforces safety and environmental requirements based on current regulationsInvolved in all aspects of QA/QC activities as outlined in QMS system for Durant facilitySupervises Quality Assurance inspectorsResolves any quality or EHS issues in facility and do work assigned by Quality DirectorWorks in a team environment, be quality conscious, and strive for continuous quality improvementMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in a technical field; or combination of education and experience5-10 years' of related experience3 years' of supervisory experienceDemonstrable experience in quality assurance and testing principles, theories, techniques, methodologies, and toolsDemonstrable experience in optimizing quality assurance and testing efficiency while improving proficiency, product quality, and customer satisfactionPREFERRED REQUIREMENTSOSHA 30 Hour certificationQuality Technician Certification (CQT)Experience in a manufacturing environmentSix Sigma
