Salary Grade/Level/Family/RangeHourlyEssential FunctionsPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsPositions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurementsAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesResolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resourcesKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for suppliesDaily communication with supervisor regarding potential issuesMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
