    Job Role: Medical Assistant at Sansum Clinic


    The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting physicians in delivering top-notch patient care in accordance with the standards set by the Medical Board of California for Medical Assistants. They serve as a source of valuable information for patients, ensuring they fully understand and benefit from the range of services provided by Sansum Clinic. As part of their duties, they may focus on a specific medical specialty, such as podiatry, to provide specialized support and care within that area.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting physicians with patient care
    • Providing essential information to patients
    • Collaborating with specialized medical teams

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant Certification Training Program
    • Possession of a valid Medical Assistant Certificate, EMT program graduation, or CNA certification
    • Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) or AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • Preferably certified in injection techniques
