    Job Summary
    The Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life serves as an essential
    member of the staff in both advising and programming. The
    coordinator will serve as the primary advisor to the United Greek
    Council, which houses special-interest and culturally-based fraternal
    organizations. Council advising responsibilities include overseeing
    council officers, participating in the planning and execution of
    programs and facilitating growth of member organizations.
    Additionally, the Coordinator will serve as a chapter coach for a
    portfolio of chapters across all four governing councils, providing
    regular support and guidance to chapter leadership. The
    Coordinator will also be responsible for either the unit's marketing
    efforts or overseeing a comprehensive new member education
    training program.

    The Fraternity and Sorority Life community at the University of
    Kentucky is consists of more than 5,500 students representing more
    than 50 chapters across four councils. In addition to advising
    student leaders and providing support to individual chapters, the
    Fraternity and Sorority Life office partners with Auxiliary Services to
    manage four chapter houses.

    Ideal candidates will have experience advising student
    organizations; knowledge of issues facing college students; strong
    attention to detail; the ability to make decisions; verbal and written
    communication skills.
