    Description
    The IT Infrastructure Services Manager focuses on leadership of other team members and individual contribution.

    Core responsibilities include management of a small infrastructure team, analysis of processes and systems, escalating recommendations to architecture and leadership, and providing coordination of projects associated with infrastructure technologies.

    Daily tasks will also include management of level two Infrastructure issue escalations, infrastructure leadership collaboration, change management and participation in technology evaluation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Leadership of a small infrastructure team that administers Microsoft 365, Exchange Online management, level 2 identity on-premises management, infrastructure monitoring and other various server applications.

    Enabling success and eliminating blockers for staff.
    Standardization of processes, and technologies.
    Onboarding/offboarding identities and modern collaboration locations, group-based licensing, and processes.
    Vendor relationship management for responsible products
    Focus on creating, delegating, and implementing tier 1 and tier 0 (user) enablement documentation.
    Understanding of automation and how to determine value based on it.
    Participate in and promote change management processes.

    Champion efforts for training, organizing, and migrating data to Microsoft 365 collaboration tools such as OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Hubs, and SharePoint Communication sites.

    Familiarity with escalation to tier 3 via various feedback loops.
    Able to manage small to medium projects while keeping various stakeholders in the loop and conducting regular status meetings.
    Education


    The minimum educational requirement for an IT Infrastructure Services Manager is a bachelor's degree in information technology or an experience equivalent of 7+ years.

    Additional factors of lesser degrees, training, and certificates may be counted toward education.
    Skills and Experience

    4+ years' experience managing a team in a mid-sized or larger business.

    7+ years' experience working with Windows servers, Windows Client OS, software applications, networks, and network protocols in a scalable enterprise environment.

    7+ years' experience managing an Active Directory structure, polices, rights, security, and software in a best practices method.
    7+ years' experience managing small to medium projects as the project lead.
    Experience in modern, hybrid environments.
    Experience in employee performance management via KPI or other metrics.
    PowerShell proficiency or other scripting languages a plus.
    Working knowledge of Power Automate, Microsoft Autopilot, and Microsoft Intune
    Extend functionality of MS Teams, Entra AD, Conditional Access and other 365 core functionality
    Experience scheduling/performing IT maintenance standard work.
    Experience with third party systems and vendors.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

    IT Infrastructure Services Manager usually spend most of their time in an Office or an IT Room with a clean, well-lit, and comfortable environment.

    However, support of general facilities will require the position to be flexible in accepting work assignments in support of the overall Wgema Campus, the needs of tenants, potential tenants, and visitors.
