    Duties * You will refer important business and high-ranking visitors to the Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO). * You will provide administrative guidance and assistance to squadron personnel as needed.

    * You will assist Department Supervisors and key staff members in interpreting instructions and in establishing action required of them.

    * You will brief Commanding Officer (CO) or Department Heads on such activity, its results, and status. * You will take messages for their attention or makes later appointments for visitors. * You will follow up on required actions and informs the Commanding Officer (CO) of their status. * You will personally prepare responses on schedule from source material. * You will respond to requests for information concerning squadron functions.

    * You will give out administrative and readily available information to callers upon determination of their right to receive it.

    * You will remind supervisor of appointments and briefs supervisor on the matters to be considered before the scheduled meeting.

    * You will advise and instructs subordinate offices through discussions with originator to obtain higher degree of compliance with general Command policies.

    * You will coordinate with Admin and Clerk to make necessary arrangements for travel, arranging schedules of visits, reservations, notifying organizations and officials to be visited.

    * You will notify the XO/CO of FITREPs coming due and notifies appropriate department heads of due dates.

    * You will receive all visitors and telephone calls to the CO/XO and ascertains nature of call or business of visitors and determines appropriate action.

    * You will keep the XO's and CO's calendar and schedules appointments and meetings upon own based on CO/XO's workload and current issues of importance.

    * You will be responsible for assembling background material for the CO/XO in preparation for meetings and/or conferences.

    * You will be responsible for organizing the administrative flow process for the office, setting up filing systems, and records management processes.

    * You will schedule and reschedules appointments-based CO/XO's schedules. * You will arrange for meetings and conferences, including such matters as location, schedule, agenda, and attendance list.     * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

    You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
    preforming clerical and administrative duties by utilizing office automation processes to support organization leadership in an office environment.
