As an EquipmentEngineer you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing, andoptimizingAutomated Material Handling System(AMHS)equipmentto improve product quality, driving yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. You will alsobe requiredtoidentify,diagnoseand resolveequipmentrelated problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDCmethodology. Coordinating and carrying out equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading andparticipatingin yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handling newequipmentqualificationsand managing,auditingand collaborating withequipmentsuppliers to achieve quality, cost,and risk mitigationobjectives.
TheEquipmentEngineer roleis responsible forsupervising the health of their assignedequipment, ensuring high-quality output, and providing proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that couldimpactFab cycle time (CT) or turns.
