Job Summary

Are you an ambitious Civil Engineer with a passion for making a significant impact on Arizona's transportation infrastructure? We have an exciting opportunity for you to take charge of drainage and hydraulic design projects that will shape the state's future. Join our dynamic team and pave your way towards progression to design lead or Project Manager roles. Your expertise will drive Arizona's infrastructure into a brighter tomorrow.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, calculations and design.
Prepares (and/or responsible for) plans and specifications.
Calculate quantities and prepare engineering estimates.
Prepare technical reports, letters, and memos for development of projects.
Organize and maintain project files.
Other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT) and the Professional Engineer's Exam.
4-8 years of professional experience required.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and storm water and drainage engineering software and have experience using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
GIS and QGIS experience is preferred.
Candidates must have good communication and technical writing skills.
Experience with FEMA submittals is desirable.
FLO-2D and HEC-RAS 2D training or experience is also desirable.
