Job summary
We are looking for a motivated,
experienced hands-on Maintenance Technician.
This is a full-time position based in Boston MA.
Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible
for assisting the manager with the physical plant including preventive responsive routine and emergency maintenance throughout the property. - Performing assigned maintenance tasks such as painting electrical plumbing flooring general carpentry HVAC issues window/glass repair door/lock repair minor repairs in common areas completion of work orders assisting to keep grounds and common areas free of trash and debris physical plant preventive responsive emergency and routine maintenance inspecting grounds buildings and other community features throughout our property
- Provide in-unit maintenance for residents such as minor repairs troubleshooting appliances light bulb replacements handymanservices
- Fostering positive respectful attitude toward residents vendors staff working patiently professionally cooperatively Communicating effectively with residents fellow associates vendors supervisors Complying with all personnel management policies procedures Ensuring adherence to companys safety operating policies standards procedures Working with Facilities Manager to ensure physical condition appearance of property will enhance value community
- Maintaining equipment performing emergency on-call service after-hours-maintenance-related issues required
- Making special projects tasks duties assigned Facilities Manager Property Manager
