    Description

    MMC Group is hiring for a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist for our client in Anchorage, AK

    The client is a short-term acute care facility with 401 beds, and a part of a 50+ hospital system across 7 states.

    The CNS acts within the nurse-patient, nurse-nurse, and nurse-system spheres. Facilitates a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in the provision of health care, within a specialty area (Critical Care). Is responsible for the promotion of excellence in the provision of nursing care through the implementation of clinical standards of practice and establishing competency standards for staff members. Will demonstrate a firm knowledge base and clinical expertise, function as a clinical resource, conduct and facilitate patient care consultation, and provide resources to assess the impact of appropriate practice on patient outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the CCNE or NLNAC
    • AK RN license
    • AHA BLS
    • CNS certification
    • CCRN certification or equivalent
    • 5+ years of experience

    Pay: $104-168k DOE; $10k sign-on bonus with 2+ year commitment
