    Description
    Growing Commercial Real Estate Lender located in downtown St. Petersburg has an outstanding career opportunity for the right Commercial Loan Servicer. We are currently seeking a Loan Servicer I to join our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. This position will require effective communication both within and outside the company. This is a dynamic position that can offer the right candidate a rewarding future and growth opportunities within the company. Qualifications:Problem-solving skillsBasic understanding of accounting concepts, practices and proceduresAbility to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally both verbally and in writingAbility to operate standard office equipment and use required software applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, OutlookProvide high level customer service Responsibilities:Ability to work with Loan Servicing personnel to assist in monitoring, managing and servicing complex commercial loansMonitor borrower compliance with loan documentation which includes but not limited to insurance requirements, payment of taxes, financials and debt service payments and assist in resolving any deficienciesWork closely with loan servicing personnel, account officers and/or attorneys in the general servicing work out of assigned portfolios which includes but not limited to, drafting of payoff letters, loan modifications, forbearance agreements and default noticesMaintain loan file documentationProcess monthly billings and payments which includes but not limited to, reconciling interest payments and interest accrualsPrepare periodic servicing reportsPerform regular audits and reconciliations of loan terms, debt service payments and interest accrualsAbility to work independently, organizing, managing and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environmentFollow written policies and proceduresTake ownership and hold themselves and others accountable for delivering accurate resultsContribute to team projects and support teammates as requestedPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned Education and Experience: Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work related experienceExperience working commercial loan servicing or legal documentation preferredAny equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
