    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The fundamental responsibilities of the IT assistant are to improve customer (employee) service, ensure security and compliance, and other duties that may support the IT department within the guidelines defined by the Director of IT or Executive Management. Additionally, the IT assistant must maintain professionalism at all times, and he/she will directly interface with others inside and outside of the company to assure necessary tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner to maximize efficiency of the department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Maintain the New Hire and Exiting employee access for all systems as defined by the hiring Director and approved by Human Resources as necessary based on Roles Based Access.
    • Monitor Help Desk tickets and assign appropriate resources (IT, RAMTech, Executive, assist as trained).
    • Track and Report ticket resolution, time on task, and self-help database for minor employee resolution items.
    • Audit, report and maintain current system for Roles Based Access and assure proper security profile assignment by employee based on position changes and/or discharges.
    • Ongoing maintenance and publication of employee-based resources to an AmeriPro Employee App.
    • Compliance, reporting and notification of KnowB4 Training by employee.
    • Maintain par levels for on-hand equipment.
    • Work with HR on tracking equipment assignment to employees and recovery.
    • Minor System Administration tasks (password resets, name changes, role changes, to be trained).
    • Represent IT for Employee Anonymous Reporting (Ethics & Compliance) Hotline.
    • Research and Order appropriate IT services for new physical locations.
    Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Able to work independently.
    • High level computer skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Service oriented.
    Education/Licensing/Certification:
    • High school diploma.
    • Current state driver's license.
    Other Knowledge and Skills:
    • Working knowledge of basic IT functionalities and procedures.
    • Maintains professional competence and demonstrates concern for the competence of other members of the EMS health care team.
    • Maintain HIPPA Compliance.
    • Strong ability to multi-task at a high pace environment.
    • Ability to uphold standards of practice and education.
    • Ability to adhere to standards of personal ethics, on and off duty, which reflect credit upon the profession.
    • Does not use professional knowledge and skills in any enterprise detrimental to the Company or to the public well-being.
    • Ability to respect and hold in confidence all information of a confidential nature obtained in the course of professional work unless required by law to divulge such information.
    • Has good working knowledge of all company policies pertaining to this position.
    • Good knowledge of common physical illnesses, obvious symptoms, and medical terminology.
