We are looking for an MRI Technologist to join the team at RAYUS Radiology.

RAYUS Radiology, formerly known as Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is transforming radiology into a crucial first step in diagnosis and treatment.

Being an MRI Technologist at RAYUS means operating scanners to create diagnostic images of patients' bodies. You'll provide MRI services with professionalism and top-notch customer care, guiding patients through the process and addressing their concerns.

This role, based in Ashville, NC, involves PRN coverage for 12-hour shifts with occasional needs in Gastonia, NC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Screens patients before exams for precautions or contradictions
Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures
Performs MRI procedures accurately with minimal supervision
Adjusts scan parameters as needed
Maintains positive relationships with colleagues and patients
Follows physicians' orders precisely and complies with safety regulations
Maintains patient records accurately
Promotes good safety practices
Maintains equipment and cleanliness
Ensures compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Assists with updating imaging protocol manual and software
Monitors medical supply inventory
Assists with training new associates

Required:

ARRT registered technologist with current certification
Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography school
Licensed Radiological Technologist (if applicable)
Current CPR certification
Experience performing MRI procedures independently
Imaging specialty certification

Preferred:

Bilingual
