    Job Description:

    The Administrative Manager, Belonging and Inclusion at OU Health will be critical in creating a workplace culture where all employees feel seen and valued. As we strive to be Oklahoma's Employer of Choice, this role will drive culture change, promote awareness, and ensure inclusivity across all aspects of our workplace and the community. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness, the successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to implement and drive B&I strategic initiatives and extend our commitment of belonging and inclusion into the broader community.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Support the VP Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness in operationalizing the Belonging & Inclusion strategic framework, including program design, assessments, training, and OU Health campus-wide and community partnerships.
    • Collaboratively work with system leaders to integrate belonging and inclusion principles into the organizational culture so that we can be Oklahoma's Employer of Choice for top talent.
    • Facilitate and lead the Belonging and Inclusion Council in partnership with the Chief Sponsors to progress strategic initiatives and priorities related to Belonging and Inclusion.
    • Work with executives and key stakeholders to assess B&I challenges and capability gaps, providing subject matter expertise, strategic planning, thought leadership, and coaching to address those issues.
    • Review, develop, and implement policies that foster an inclusive workplace, ensuring policies remain up to date, aligned with best practices, and comply with the organization's legal requirements.
    • Ensure Belonging and Inclusion practices are embedded into every aspect of the OU Health Employee Life Cycle.
    • Design, lead, and oversee programs, trainings, and workshops that promote belonging and inclusion.
    • Establish, support, and act as the strategic advisor for OU Health's Belonging Networks to ensure our workforce feels seen, has a voice, and builds engaging connections.
    • Assist the Talent Acquisitions team with embedding belonging and inclusion efforts to promote a system-wide strategy that improves the OU Health talent pool.
    • Work closely with the HR Business Partner Directors to consult and provide guidance to address and resolve any inclusion and belonging-related employee issues.
    • Be the face of Belonging and Inclusion at OU Health, championing initiatives that prioritize the needs and experiences of all employees.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Growth Team to develop and implement effective communication strategies that raise awareness for belonging and inclusion.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between OU Health and external community groups, fostering partnerships and alliances that promote belonging and inclusion.
    • Represent OU Health at community events, conferences, and forums to advance the organization's Belonging and Inclusion strategic initiatives.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to belonging and inclusion.
    • Collect and analyze data from the belonging and inclusion dashboard to track all B&I efforts and increase employee engagement.
    General Responsibilities:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business administration, Diversity Studies, or related field.

    Master's degree preferred.

    Experience: Proven experience (minimum of 7 years) in belonging and inclusion, Talent Development, Human Resources, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving cultural change and implementing Belonging and Inclusion Principles.

    Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP),

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • In-depth understanding of belonging and inclusion principles, with the ability to apply them in an organizational setting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
    • Proficiency in facilitating discussions, workshops, and training sessions on topics related to Belonging and Inclusion.
    • High cultural competency with the ability to navigate and appreciate different perspectives and backgrounds.
    • Maintain high emotional intelligence to support employees in sensitive situations.
    • Strong influential skills that inspire and drive organizational change.
    • Interpersonal skills, including building trust, establishing rapport, and collaborating effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
    • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations related to belonging and inclusion, ensuring organizational policies and practices remain compliant.
    • Remains current on industry trends, best practices, and emergent issues related to Belonging and Inclusion.
    • Familiar with organizational dynamics and how to assess the current corporate culture to embed belonging and inclusion in the existing culture strategically.
    • Effective project management skills to plan, execute, and evaluate belonging and inclusion efforts.
    • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to assess the impact of belonging and inclusion initiatives to identify areas of improvement.
    • Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exhibits follow-through and meets deadlines effectively and efficiently.
    • Knows how to advocate and address employee-related challenges (bias, discrimination, etc.) with solid conflict resolution skills.
    • Knows how to think proactively and use critical thinking skills to develop innovative and creative solutions to overcome organizational barriers.
    • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
