    Description

    **Job Summary**

    We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Manager with security expertise to lead our Identity, Authentication & Access Management (IAM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing systems that manage access control configuration at scale across the company.

    This role requires strong collaboration and cross-functional skills, with significant interaction across Meta's workforce.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Manage a team of security SWEs with expertise in access control systems, access models such as RBAC and ABAC, and role mining.

    2. Design and build a platform that continuously monitors and reconfigures access control across the company.

    3. Utilize this platform to right-size access control to Meta assets at scale.

    4. Navigate tradeoffs between security and friction/cost to ensure the company can continue to move fast in a secure manner.

    Requirements

    1. Experience managing software engineering teams in the security domain.

    2. Experience driving large cross-company engineering initiatives.

    3. Experience working with Security Engineering teams to drive solutions.

    4. Experience operating in high ambiguity environments and balancing technical solution design with complex business processes and requirements.

    5. Experience scaling teams by hiring net new headcount.
