    Current Need:

    The purpose of the Sr. Portfolio Analyst role is to support the growth of the SP&P team by assisting in portfolio management, including helping to develop a joint demand forecast for all generic injectables in Provider and Passport. The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will provide forecast for Business Partners across the enterprise.

    The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will maintain a database of inventory information where they will be responsible for tracking and monitoring inventory for Provider and identifying opportunities across Specialty Products and Programs (SP&P) to share product. The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will report out any shortages they are seeing by reviewing unfulfilled POs, inventory targets, and signals from PAR/CAR reports from manufacturers. They will work closely with a Sr. Drug Shortage Risk Advisor to communicate any problems, and drive solutions with cross functional teams.

    The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will assist Portfolio Director with building a Passport Risk Profile for each molecule on the program. This individual will be responsible for automating processes, creating efficiencies and developing a model to reduce risk across portfolio. Tasks include expanding Provider risk profile to formulate DIOH targets as well as number of manufacturers to carry per molecule.

    The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Excel models for share shifts, inclusive of customer segmentation changes, DC changes, and various other situational events. They will own new material set ups within Provider and coordinate NDC/Discontinuations for both Provider and Passport. Clear communication and effective change management is a must.

    The ideal candidate is analytical and results oriented and will be comfortable transitioning between macro-level analysis and detailed execution plans. Candidate will be able to deliver under tight deadlines, create and develop reporting metrics and build Smartsheets and Salesforce solutions to support growth. Financial acumen and the ability to develop and manipulate models in Excel is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create and build model to assess risk across generic injectables portfolio.
    • Create and Manage Demand Forecast for SP&P. Track variations in demand and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Design, develop and execute central repository for portfolios by working with Smartsheet and Salesforce consultants.
    • Track, report and communicate inventory issues across SP&P. Coordinate PO needs within Provider, transferring inventory across Provider and Passport and work with Provider buyers to bring in inventory when shortages occur.
    • Manage all additions/removals from Specialty Portfolio. Monitor NDC/Discontinuations for both Passport and Specialty Portfolios, communicating changes to various teams and ensuring sell through prior to removal from program(s).
    • Monthly Morgue Review. Outline risk of returns to Senior Leadership, research potential solutions and drive solutions to sell through overstock.
    • Create share shift matrices for Specialty Portfolio. Analyze conversion between strengths and sizes within portfolio for share shift. Manage changes to customer segmentation and DC breakdowns within share shift template. Identify opportunities to transfer inventory across Provider DC networks and balance DCs as necessary once share shift decision has been made by Director.
    • Update and manage ARK portal with award decisions including start dates and termination dates as well as volumes. Analyze ClarusONE sourcing sprints and potential impact to Specialty Portfolio.
    • Maintain and update databases with various information
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of product management, category management, and/or demand planning experience.
    Education:
    • 4-year degree, preferably in sales and marketing, business management, or healthcare related field or equivalent experience.
    Critical Skills:
    • 7+ years of experience, preferably in product or category management.
    • 5+ years of experience performing operational analysis.
    • 5+ years of experience organizing and analyzing data.
    Additional Skills:
    • Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain, purchasing and/or distribution concepts.
    • Demonstrated Excel skills with the ability to build and/or enhance current complex models.
    • Ability to coordinate activities across a variety of stakeholders.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to function in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
    • Smartsheet and Salesforce experience is a must.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $120,400 - $200,600
