- Assist physicians and staff in the cardiac cath Lab with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care.
- Perform various duties including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during invasive procedures.
- Handle inventory control and be prepared to respond to cardiac alerts and STEMI cases.
- Assess patient's needs and conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific problems and scheduled procedures.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff members.
- Perform x-rays, prioritize patient care based on needs, identify and respond to emergency situations.
- Assist with set-up, insertion, and monitoring of pacemakers.
- Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
- Basic EKG course.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months experience in Cath Lab/Cardiac Intervention Lab.
- 1 year of experience providing cardiac cath and radiology care.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- RCIS certification.
