    Position Description
    MDES is seeking one (1) senior analyst/developer with experience in .NET applications.

    The contractor will work in the state office with existing MDES technical team members to provide maintenance, enhancements, and support to the agency's current applications.

    The contractor may also be required for designing, developing, and enhancing additional applications as requested.


    Tasks required will be:
    (1) Serve as technical Microsoft .NET developer for MDES, (2) maintain, support, and develop enhancements to the MDES Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) application, (3) Assist the MDES technical team supporting the functions required under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
    This position will require a qualified SQL DBA to take the lead in the following tasks:
    Rationalizing and mapping data between transactional and dimensional database models/systems
    Working closely with the database and system administrators to develop stored procedures and ETL processes related to the data warehouse system
    Working in collaboration with vendors and other agency staff to design, develop and manage the creation of federally required reports using the Generate application
    Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
    Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
    Ability to work under severe time constraints.
    Must possess analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

    Microsoft server operating systems including Windows 2008
    Project Management Professional (PMP)
    JavaScript
    Crystal reports and reporting software
    Create and maintain testing environment and data needed for testing
    Coordinate QA User Testing activities among various State and Local parties
