Job summary
We're seeking a Wireless Communication Systems Engineer who will participate in all phases of wireless technology projects including planning design implementation prototyping verificationThis position is based at Silvus Technologies' headquarters in West Los Angeles CA and is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected.
The engineer will participate in system design requirement specification algorithmic development simulation implementation testing performance simulation benchmarking testing fixed point modeling FPGA design verification support lead teams for product feature development setting tracking driving development schedules tasks design lab field testing troubleshooting technical material preparation documentation R&D business capture efforts understand current products technologies brainstorm future enhancements strategies infrequent travel customer interactions test demonstration events REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS degree or Ph.D. degree in wireless communications signal processing electrical engineering computer engineering systems engineering relevant fields
- Minimum of 3 years experience designing developing wireless systems
- Participation complete wireless technology cycle design field testing
- Demonstrated knowledge experience RF propagation channel modeling/li>Comprehensive expertise digital communication systems RF subsystems synchronizations channel estimation channel coding etc.li>Extensive knowledge expertise signal processing algorithms MIMO OFDM etc.li Strong understanding modeling mitigating RF impairments signals AGC phase noise frequency clock offset etc li Experience fixed point modeling implementation verification Expert MATLAB programming simulation Must U.S. Citizen due clients U.S. government contracts Employment contingent successful clearance background check
