    Description

    CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA/QMA)

    Shift Differential

    Benefits:

    Shifts Available:

    * No Weekends

    * FT Evening

    Responsibilities:

    • Directly respond, within scope, to the needs and concerns of residents and family members
    • Ensure residents' right to privacy (visual and auditory)
    • Provide resident care as directed by care plan and/or nursing staff
    • Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, etc. as needed
    • Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
    • Administer medications using the 5 rights
    • Assist with activities of daily living
    • Help residents with personal hygiene
    • Obtain and record vital signs and weight
    • Willingness to help others

    Qualifications:

    · Completion of a Nebraska-approved CNA Certification course (Certified Nursing Assistant)

    · Completion of a Nebraska-approved CMA 40 Hour Certification course (Certified Medication Aide)

    · Current CPR certification

    · Ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and fellow team members

    · Ability to provide good customer service

    · Basic computer skills

    · 8-hour shifts
