Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
Supports Calpine's trading, structuring, and origination functions. Works closely with regional gas and power desks to identify gas transaction needs and prioritize deal flow.
Price and structure various deals and agreements while maintaining constant communication across the gas desk, power desk, various internal functions and external counterparties.
Analyzes and evaluates transaction structuring options and makes recommendations to increase market penetration and profitability.Develops marketing plans and serves as subject matter expert and provides market intelligence regarding project development and acquisition opportunities with respect to natural gas footprint.
Responsible for working with internal Calpine groups and external vendors to provide the necessary data to analyze and evaluate physical asset opportunities across multiple trading sub-regions.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Typically requires 3+ years' experience mostly concentrated in analytical modeling and performance.
