- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents presenting with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Provide accurate and timely psychiatric diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of child and adolescent patients.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Monitor and adjust medication regimens based on patient response and clinical considerations.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding psychiatric diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery.
- Collaborate with families to develop strategies for managing and supporting their child's mental health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Graduate of an accredited MD program.
- Psychiatry Residency completed from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
- Knowledge and skills compatible to an individual with board certification in Psychiatry
- Minimum of 2 years' prior relevant psychiatric experience
- Experience with adults, children and adolescents, strongly preferred
- Current unrestricted license in the state of MA in Psychiatry (MD/DO)
- Board eligible/Board certified in Psychiatry
