Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Financial Analyst in Crystal City, VA or Remote.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Measure organizational performance.
• Assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
• Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.
• Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
• Manage finances across multiple funding types.
• Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries.
• Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.
• Interpret and apply financial management principles.
• Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations, and organizational strategic goals.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• More than 4 years of experience required; 7 years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with Navy ERP, MSIL and NEPS is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel: Less than 5% expected
